Caldan SD

The double sided guiding system allows an excellent accuracy in the presentation of the jigs / work pieces.

No contamination as the work pieces are placed on top of the conveyor system.

A very space saving solution compared to more traditional conveyor systems like belt- and roller conveyors.

Only a minimum of maintenance and user training is required.

Easy access to the vital parts of the conveyor system.

The consequent use of tested high quality components increases functional reliability of the system.

Specifications:
The Floor conveyor type SD consists of two Caldan standard straight profiles. In the upper profile a cardan chain is driven by one or more drive units with fixed or variable speed. The underlying profile supports the wagon.

The wagon body consists of 4 mm laser cut and folded plates assembled with a minimum of welding operations.

The load capacity of the wagon is max. 30 kg.

The high accuracy in the positioning of the wagon is guaranteed by the four guiding wheels placed two on each side of the wagon. Furthermore a nylon rail mounted on the top of the power profi le helps the centering the wagon in, for example, the painting area.

Turning devices non-fixable or fixable in 90° or 180° positions are mounted on the top of the wagons on customer request.
